Playlist is used to play multiple files one after another in order. You can access to the playlist from 'Now Playing' tab of the fullview mode, or in Today and Player visual modes of the Ziepod.
Playlists consists of two major parts: area where items are listed and the status bar to show the status of the player at the moment, as shown in the sample screenshot below. While selected item is shown in the blue frame, currently playing item is shown in green alogn with the small play-icon at the left of the title.
Actions on Listed Items:
When you make a right-click on any listed item, you get a context menu, which lists various actions to be applied on selected item. As shown the screenshot below, other than generic playlist related functions like "Clear Playlist" there are also functions to move selected item up and down in the list, to rate it, and to remove it from the list.
Other than functions provided by context menu, by using your keyboard and mouse, you can perform various actions on listed episodes in the playlist.
Double-click : to play selected item
DEL key : to remove selected item
Drag&Drop item : to move item up and down in the list
Up & Down keys : to select previous & next items
Automated Clearance of Playlist:
When you click to play any episode, all existing items in the playlist is removed before adding it to the list. If you don't like this behaviour, you can set Ziepod not to do so. Check related help topic for that.
Ziepod also provides one more feature to clear the playlist, and that is at the start-up. If you like Ziepod to start up with empty playlist you can set it so via your preferences. Check its corresponding help topic as well.
