How to synchronize playlists

When you synchronize your Ziepod with your iTunes, Ziepod makes sure that all shown playlists and items inside are the same as the ones shown inside the iTunes. This function is provided in case you feel something is wrong with Ziepod.

Here is how to synchronize your playlists:

  • Make a right click on iPod icon (  ) located inside the 'Subscriptions' tab
  • From popped up menu, select 'Synch Playlists' menu option

Other than making sure that shown content inside Ziepod is same, there is one more purpose of this functionality, which is quite neat.

When you close iTunes, Ziepod is automatically notified of the situation and temporarily disables iPod support by removing playlists from your folders hierarchy. When you open up iTunes again, you don't need to restart Ziepod, thanks to this feature. Just synch the playlists and continue using Ziepod.

Additional Notes
  • Based on number of playlists, you may have to wait couple of seconds to finish synching process
