Home tab presents the content in webpage style in order to faciliate the interaction and provide more flexible user interface. In fact, it acts just like an embedded web browser but with limited functionality. Having such browser-like panel lets you use Ziepod to reach out content without having to open their actual web browsers.
Home tab allows you to reach out content from various sources. As content from different sources are presented in different formats, each source is shown in separete segment. Those segments are 'Latest', 'Highlights', 'Ratings', 'Search', and 'Directory'. To learn more about segment, check corresponding help topics.
As the home tab acts like an embedded web browser, it has its own navigation panel located inside the toolbar area at the top of the tab, as shown below. In this panel, there are two navigation buttons for going back and forward between browsed pages and one special visual component to show the path of the shown page in the navigation tree.
As you switch to another page, navigation path of shown page is shown at the top. For example, above, 'Highlights' segment which is under the home is currently shown page. Home icon represents the starting point which is the 'Latest' segment. In other words, when you click the home icon, you go to the 'Latest' segment.
