Ziepod mainframe window can be transformed into 4 different shapes, called visual modes. Those modes are Fullview, Today, Player and Deskbar modes. By default, Ziepod starts up in the Fullview mode.
The main goal behind providing different visual modes is to provide a tool to simplify and customize the look of Ziepod based on your instantaneous needs. For example, when you want to listen to podcasts while working with other applications, you can switch to the Deskbar mode and move Ziepod on top of your screen to still keep an eye on playing episode.
Visual modes give you enough flexibility to make use of Ziepod in various situations.
Following is one-sentence explanation of each visual mode:
[ ] Full-View Mode
Use this mode to manage all your retrieved content, as well as to reach new content on the Internet.
[ ] Today Mode
Use this mode to see what is latest in your subscriptions
[ ] Player Mode
Use this to arrange your playlist or just to keep an eye on the playlist while playing
[ ] Deskbar Mode
Use this especially while using other programs, since it doesn't intervene with other windows.
You can switch between modes by using colored four icon buttons located at the top-right corner of the Ziepod as shown below. Other than these, if you like to use your keyboard, you can also use provided customizable keyboard shortcuts.
Other than these four, there is a special visual mode which is called 'Theather Mode'. In this mode, content of the 'Now Playing' tab is shown in full screen. There are various ways to switch to this mode. You can use devoted keyboard shortcut, or icon button ( ) in the 'Now Playing' tab, or simply double-click on the black screen of the 'Now Playing' tab.
