When Ziepod is in player mode, it just looks like a music player as can be seen in the sample screenshot below. In fact, user interface of the player mode serves similar functionality as the 'Now Playing' tab of the 'Fullview' but everything is shown in more compact way. You can switch to this mode by clicking [ ] icon located at the top-right corner of the Ziepod.
Other than default player buttons at the bottom and seekbar to adjust volume, this mode contains the playlist at the center. You can manage your playlist by ordering and removing items. To learn more about how to make use of the playlist, check the 'Playlist Panel' help topic.
Specific to Ziepod+, you also have an access to the video panel in this mode, which is shown at the left handside of the playlist. In order to toggle it, you need to click 'video' icon shown at the bottom-left corner of the playlist. That icon is only visible in Ziepod+.
You can resize the panel by only using the handle located at the bottom-right corner of the window. Unlike fullview mode, you are not allowed to maximize this panel as it is intended to serve as compact panel.
When Ziepod in this mode, you can add new items into your playlist. You can drag-and-drop media files from your computer to play or even while browsing on the Internet you can drop links to media files from webpages to play or download them. Reading Latest Posts in Player Mode:
Since this mode is designed to enables you to keep track of the playlist while working with other applications on your computer, it is not capable of showing newly retrieved content. To compansate this, when Ziepod is in this mode, popup notifier pops up out of your system tray, if its enabled.
